5 out of 5 starsBeautiful karatsu pottery by a very skilled craftsman. Most karatsu I have seen have black designs. The blue harmonizes beautifully with my preferred palette for ceramics and plates.

5 out of 5 starsA fine bowl gleaned from the earth, graced with a wave-like form and spidery brushstrokes. Thank you for sharing this labor of love.

5 out of 5 starsI'm very fond of this bowl, the craft, the design and the feeling of it. I ordered several times to Michael now, always happy, in fact when i want a new piece of ceramic, for daily use mainly, i come to karatsu pots.

All my work is primarily clay, feldspar, iron, and ash, and contains no toxic materials. Materials and process are important to me. I am always looking for ways to show off the local materials I collect with traditional processes I've learned.
